Pitch.
'Trapped in Translation'
two women - who share one bond, from opposite backgrounds, one being from a strict religious family being forced into an arranged marriage, and the other being a newly reformed prostitute - both meet on an online chat room, bonding over one reason - they are both trying to escape their destined fates.
- inspired by the t.v programmes 24 and without a trace. (CCTV idea)

Research and Planning
1.) what genre have you chosen to use and why?
- Thriller, as it's got dark elements in it, but isn't as typically scary as a horror.
- Trapped
- 24
2.) what films have you looked for at in your research?
- Taken
- we have adapted the idea of 'sex trafficking' from this film, into ours, but have made this more discreet as our target audience is younger.

- Don't say a word
- Trapped
- 24
The opening of the series 24 has inspired us to use CCTV elements as this would be ideal for showing our audience when the two woman first meet in person.
- The Social Network
This chat scene clip from 'The Social Network' represents the idea of the two women meeting in a chat room for the first time, and getting to know each other online, by a networking site.
